Job highlights Role 1 Truss Plant Worker $38.99/hr day shift Monday to Friday, 6:30am 3:00pm 46 week assignment Immediate start available Role 2 Warehouse Production Worker $34.11/hr day shift | $39.23/hr afternoon shift | $44.35/hr night shift penalties Shift Work Paid breaks Consistent ongoing work 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday What you'll do Role 1 Truss Plant Worker Operate nail guns, power tools and hand tools Set up and adjust jigs for truss production Operate forklifts to move materials around the site Assist with the manufacture and assembly of timber trusses Maintain a clean and safe work environment Role 2 Warehouse Production Worker Work within a fast-paced warehouse production environment Operate production equipment and machinery Perform quality checks and packing duties Assist with stock movement and general warehouse tasks Maintain safety and housekeeping standards Tickets & experience you'll need Role 1 Truss Plant Worker Experience using nail guns, power tools and hand tools Previous manufacturing, construction or production experience Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg Comfortable working in a shed/manufacturing environment Current High Risk Forklift Licence preferred but not essential Role 2 Warehouse Production Worker Previous experience in warehouse, production or manufacturing environments Strong attention to detail and safety Reliable with a good work ethic Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical, physical and drug & alcohol testing Must be available for shift work Benefits Competitive hourly rates with penalties Consistent work opportunities Supportive team environments Strong focus on workplace safety Potential for ongoing employment for the right candidates About AWX AWX started out with two blokes, a people problem and a whole lot of grit - and that's still how we run.
