Competitive Salary What You Bring: You’ll be responsible for ensuring freight is correctly manifested and ready for dispatch, working closely with drivers, operations, and customers to keep freight moving safely and on time. Strong administrative experience in a high-volume, time-critical environment. Exceptional attention to detail – accuracy is critical in manifesting and documentation. Problem-solving mindset – confident identifying and escalating issues early. Clear communication skills – able to liaise with drivers, operations, and customers. Adaptability & resilience – comfortable with last-minute changes and tight cut-offs. Transport or logistics experience (preferred, not essential) – full training provided. What You’ll Do: Manifest Preparation & Processing: Ensure all freight is accurately manifested and allocated to the correct runs. Driver Paperwork & Debriefs: Review consignment notes and documentation to close out daily operations. Freight Bookings & Scheduling Support: Manage delivery slots, customer requests, and changes. Operational Coordination: Liaise with depot, warehouse, and drivers to ensure loads are ready and compliant. Compliance & Accuracy: Support Chain of Responsibility by identifying discrepancies or risks. Administration & Reporting: Assist the Admin and Depot Manager with daily operational reporting and tasks.
