About the role: We’re looking for a permanent, part-time Government & Regulatory Affairs Advisor to lead our engagement with government, regulators and key industry stakeholders. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders to provide strategic policy advice and help shape outcomes that directly impact the business.You’ll be responsible for:Leading our engagement strategy with government, regulators and industry stakeholdersBuilding and leveraging senior relationships across government to influence policy and regulatory outcomesProviding strategic advice to senior leaders on policy, legislation and regulatory developmentsTranslating complex policy changes into clear commercial insights, risks and opportunitiesRepresenting the organisation externally, shaping submissions, briefings and advocacy aligned to our strategic prioritiesThis is a senior opportunity for someone with strong government connections, excellent influencing skills, and the confidence to operate in complex, high-profile environments.You’ll bring:Significant experience in government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs or a related fieldDemonstrated experience engaging with senior government stakeholders (e.g. Ministers, advisors, regulators)Established and credible networks across federal and/or state government, with the ability to leverage relationships to influence outcomesStrong understanding of the Australian political and regulatory landscapeExperience operating in complex or highly regulated industries (e.g. media, telecommunications, infrastructure) preferredStrong commercial acumen and ability to link policy to business outcomesHighly developed written and verbal communication skills
