Due to a retirement, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Window Furnishings professional to take ownership of a key department within the business. About the Role This is not your typical retail sales role. We're seeking a commercially minded leader who understands the window furnishings industry and can take full ownership of the department. You'll be the driving force behind sales performance, supplier relationships, procurement and customer outcomes, ensuring projects move seamlessly from consultation through to installation. Based within the showroom, you'll work closely with customers, suppliers and installers while managing the day-to-day operation of the department. This role would suit someone who thrives on closing sales, building relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining strong commercial oversight. Product Range You'll be working across a premium range of custom-made products including: Indoor Blinds Outdoor Blinds Plantation Shutters Curtains and Sheers Roller Shutters Awnings External Shade Solutions Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the Window Furnishings department and its overall performance Guide customers through product selection and solution-based selling Prepare quotations and close high-value sales opportunities Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes Source products and negotiate with suppliers to maximise margin and service outcomes Coordinate projects from sale through to installation Support showroom presentation and merchandising standards Liaise with installers, manufacturers and customers regarding project progress Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the journey About You Strong product knowledge across blinds, shutters, curtains, awnings and related products A confident closer with a track record of converting enquiries into sales Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement activities Commercially minded with strong attention to margin and profitability Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and work autonomously Passionate about delivering premium customer outcomes What's In It For You?
