Join a Global Heavy Lifting Leader | Full-Time Apprenticeship 1300apprentice has a rare opportunity for a 1st Year Electrical Fitter Apprentice to join our Employer Partner, a world leader in the design and delivery of heavy lift tower cranes and complex craneage services. They are a third-generation, family-owned and run Australian business with almost 100 years’ experience working on some of the largest construction projects in Australia and across the globe. As an Apprentice Electrical Fitter, you will be supported to develop your technical capabilities across a range of core activities, under supervision, including: · Disassembly and reassembly of electric motors · Modifying equipment in accordance with technical specifications and work instructions · Conducting electrical and mechanical performance testing, maintenance and repairs, both workshop and field-based. · Diagnosing faults and assisting with investigations of equipment failures · Operating workshop machinery and equipment in a safe and controlled manner · Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition. · Accurately record work in maintenance logs. · Following safe work practices in the workshop and on-site.
