To commence Term 4, 2026 We are seeking a passionate and experienced sports administrator/coach to lead our rowing program as Director of Rowing. This role oversees the planning, management and delivery of the School’s rowing program for Years 8–12, fostering both individual development and a strong, inclusive rowing culture aligned with the School’s broader educational values. You will support and mentor coaching staff and volunteers, build a welcoming community for students and families, and coordinate all program logistics, including regattas and training camps, to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for all involved. The position could be a stand-alone position or combined with a Teaching load. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA One of the following registrations: Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration (or ability to obtain), including a VIT approved Teaching qualification, or Rowing Australia Coaching Accreditation (minimum Level 1) Significant experience and deep understanding of rowing, either as a participant, coach or administrator. Strong understanding of health, fitness, strength and conditioning development for adolescents. Strong understanding of current trends and professional practices in development and elite sports coaching, as well as coaching principles and methodology. Ability to collaborate, engage and inspire others in a positive manner. Be highly motivated with ability to display initiative and work autonomously. Well-developed organisational skills, including ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
