WA Immuniser Provider Certificate About this Role: Provides care in general practice environment Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records Follow up and recall process Assisting doctors with procedures, examinations Administer immunisations and other medications Treatment room stock ordering, vaccine orders Have the ability and confidence to work in a general practice setting alone and in the team environment. Comply with practice policies and procedures Work within scope of Practice Commitment to Quality Improvement and Risk Management Collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care Tasks & responsibilities Perform clinical duties according to best available evidence including (but not limited to) patient triage, immunisations and other injections, wound management, chronic disease management, ECGs, spirometry, and health assessments. Assist doctors with clinical procedures such as minor surgical procedures, iron infusions, Implanon and IUD insertions. Participating in the timely recall of patients to review abnormal investigations via phone call and our automated recall system. Maintaining inventory of clinical supplies, including correct storage (such as cold chain management of vaccines), disposal of expired stock and ordering of medical consumables and vaccines Maintain the practice's infection control systems for hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, spills management, Cold chain management, and more in accordance with RACGP standards.
