This role is ideal for registered nurses with 1–10 years of relevant experience who are passionate about community mental health, recovery-oriented practice, and delivering patient-centered care across diverse populations. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive mental health nursing assessments, care planning, and follow-up for clients in community settings. Deliver evidence-based interventions, risk assessments, crisis support, and mental state examinations. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, psychologists, GPs, and allied health professionals to coordinate care. Support clients in recovery-focused goal setting, psychoeducation, medication management liaison, and relapse prevention strategies. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, contribute to quality improvement activities, and adhere to clinical governance and confidentiality standards. Engage with families and carers, provide practical support, and facilitate referrals to community resources and support networks. Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Essential Qualifications & Experience Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated mental health nursing experience ranging from 1 to 10 years; mid-senior level clinical experience preferred. Strong clinical reasoning and risk assessment skills, with experience in community-based mental health care. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and to engage compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
