Job Description Prepare and review accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting. Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning. Responsible for cash flow forecasting, FX risk management, and implementing hedging strategies to optimise liquidity and minimise currency exposure. Manage the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy. Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed financial insights. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members within the Accounting & Finance department. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA. Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within the retail industry. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
