Permanent, long-term work with a national company in a high-demand industry 2 x RDOs per month and 2 x pay reviews each year Hands-on delivery across data centres, cloud, AI, health, construction and critical infrastructure Clear career progression into specialist, leading hand, supervisory or leadership pathways Why it matters Deliver the fibre and copper networks that power high-density data halls and critical technology environments Work in a team where safety, planning, workmanship and closeout discipline genuinely matter Contribute to complex project milestones without cutting corners or compromising quality Be part of a growing Victorian team backed by structured supervision, induction and technical support What you’ll do Install, terminate, label and test fibre and copper communications infrastructure Deliver containment, cable pathways, rack and stack, cabinet fit-off and patching works Read drawings, follow scopes and execute installations accurately with minimal rework Work with leading hands, supervisors, project coordinators and other trades to keep delivery moving Support apprentices and newer technicians while maintaining high site standards Complete testing, labelling and handover documentation to project requirements Our ideal candidate Current ACMA licence with Structured, Coaxial and Fibre endorsements – essential VIC Electrical licence is highly regarded Experience in structured cabling across construction, data centres or critical infrastructure Strong knowledge of cabling standards, testing and best-practice installation Safety-first, tidy on site and committed to high-quality workmanship Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable in fast-paced project environments What makes Alliance SI different We are building and developing one of Australia’s strongest data centre delivery teams through structured training, succession planning and leadership pathways.
