In this role, you will provide safe, evidence-based, and person-centred nursing care to residents and acute patients supporting their individual needs, preferences, and goals. Working under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring a high standard of clinical practice is maintained. You will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical leadership, supervision, and support to Enrolled Nurses and Health Care Workers. The role also includes medication administration, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and ensuring effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues. Our 51-bed Residential Aged Care service and 10 bed Acute service is committed to providing care in a safe, respectful, and homelike environment that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for all residents and patients.
