Principal Lawyer – Self‑Representation Services Sydney or Melbourne | FT or 0.8 FTE | Hybrid | $130k super salary packaging Are you a senior lawyer who wants your work to have real impact? This role leads a specialist program supporting people who are navigating complex court processes without legal representation. You’ll guide a small team, oversee legal practice, and help shape innovative, digitally‑enabled service delivery. What you’ll do Lead a specialist legal practice delivering discrete advice, supervising clinics, and managing risk Support people self‑representing by helping them understand processes, prepare documents, and present their case Supervise and mentor lawyers paralegals Build strong stakeholder relationships with courts, partners and referral pathways Drive service innovation through digital tools and integrated delivery models About you You bring experience or other areas with transferable skills and experience: Civil law (credit/debt, building disputes, tenancy) Employment law Administrative law Contract or commercial disputes Tenancy law You’re confident managing legal risk, supervising others, and running a practice. Experience or willingness to embrace digital service delivery or integrated models is a bonus. A Principal‑level practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one) is required.
