Corporate & Commercial Lawyer A highly regarded mid-tier commercial firm is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Lawyer (1–3 years PAE) to join a growing team that works closely with clients in the education and not‑for‑profit sectors . This is a newly created role offering hands‑on work, direct client contact and the chance to build deep expertise in a specialised and meaningful practice area. Working alongside recognised experts in governance and regulatory matters, you will gain exposure to a broad mix of advisory, commercial and compliance work for schools, charities and related organisations. The Role You’ll support a diverse client base across the education and NFP sectors, with matters including: Advising on school regulation at both State and Federal levels Corporate governance issues (ACNC standards, Corporations Act, Associations Acts) Directors’ duties, conflicts of interest and board‑related matters Drafting and reviewing governing documents (constitutions, rules, board charters, policies) Preparing commercial agreements such as venue hire, sponsorships, related‑party arrangements and consultancy agreements Responding to regulator enquiries and advising on compliance issues Assisting with business structures and restructures, including companies, trusts and charitable foundations This role offers a rare opportunity to develop your corporate/commercial skillset in an area with strong demand and a long‑term career path.
