About the role The Content Creator (Marketing) is responsible for the end-to-end creation, curation, and publication of digital content across all social media and online platforms. The primary objective of this role is to promote Manly Surf School's services, build brand awareness within local and international markets, and increase sales through strategic digital storytelling. This role requires a blend of creative production skills and analytical marketing expertise to ensure content reaches and resonates with the target demographic. Duties and Responsibilities Content Strategy and Planning Developing comprehensive content calendars and marketing strategies aligned with seasonal surfing trends and business objectives. Conducting market research to identify emerging digital trends within the surf and outdoor lifestyle sectors. Defining target audience personas to ensure content is tailored for maximum engagement and conversion. Digital Content Creation Conceptualising, capturing, and editing high-quality photography and video content featuring surf lessons, beach culture, and school events. Drafting professional copy for social media posts, ensuring a consistent brand voice across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Designing graphic assets for digital advertisements, newsletters, and promotional banners. Social Media and Platform Management Managing the daily operations of all social media accounts, including scheduling posts and monitoring community interactions. Implementing growth strategies to increase follower counts and enhance organic reach across digital platforms. Engaging with the online community by responding to comments and messages to foster brand loyalty. Copywriting and Editorial Researching and writing long-form blog content for the company website to improve Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and establish brand authority. Drafting email marketing campaigns and newsletters to communicate promotions and school updates to the existing database. Ensuring all written material is grammatically correct, factually accurate, and compliant with Australian consumer law regarding advertising. Performance Analytics and Reporting Utilising analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite) to track the performance of digital content and marketing campaigns. Preparing monthly reports for the Owner detailing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement rates, and conversion metrics. Adjusting content strategies based on data-driven insights to optimise Return on Investment (ROI).
