We’re working with a leading financial services organisation currently undertaking a major data transformation initiative, and they’re looking to bring in a Data Engineer on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role focused on building and optimising modern data pipelines, supporting large-scale data migration efforts, and contributing to a cloud-native data platform. You will: – Design and build scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform – Develop and optimise data models using BigQuery and dbt – Implement and manager data ingestion using Fivetran/HVR – Support end-to-end data migrations across legacy and modern platforms We’re looking for: – Strong experience working with GCP (BigQuery) – Hands on with dbt for data transformation and data modelling – Experience with Fivetran and/or HVR for data ingestion – Solid SQL skills – Previous experience delivering data migration projects Duration: 6-12 months Location: Melbourne CBD, Hybrid Rate: Competitive
