We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality meals and overseeing kitchen helpers, ensuring that all food preparation and presentation meet the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and quality. You will work closely with our Sous Chef and Head Chef, and step in to provide support during their absence. This position is a full-time ongoing position based in Elizabeth Quay, Perth WA 6000. Main Tasks: -Maintaining high culinary standards and lead junior kitchen staff. -Assisting in managing food purchasing, storage, and inventory. -Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained. -Help creating new recipes and contribute to menu development. -Assisting in meeting food gross profit margins by managing portion control. -Supervising and train junior staff in food preparation and kitchen procedures. -Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper rotation and storage. -Ensure all food is prepared and presented to specification, maintaining consistency in quality and timing. Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience: -Formal culinary training such as Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality. -At least 3 years' relevant industry experience Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge: -Excellent leadership and supervision skills. -Strong communication skills. -Ability to maintain food margins and minimize waste. -Proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a team-oriented attitude. Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $85.000,00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
