We are currently partnering with two highly regarded boutique law firms seeking experienced Senior Legal Assistants / Probate Clerks to support respected Principals across busy and established Wills & Estates practices. Located in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, both firms have built strong reputations for their client service, collaborative cultures, and ability to retain staff long-term. Offering 2 days per week work from home , these opportunities are ideal for experienced Legal Assistants looking for greater flexibility without sacrificing quality work or team connection. The Opportunities Working closely with experienced Principals, you will play a pivotal role in the management of probate, estate administration and estate-related matters from commencement through to completion. Your responsibilities may include: Preparing Probate and Letters of Administration applications Assisting with the administration of deceased estates Drafting correspondence to banks, share registries, aged care providers and government bodies Preparing estate distribution documentation and settlement paperwork Coordinating the closure and transfer of bank accounts and investments Preparing documentation relating to share transfers and asset realisation Managing trust and estate payments Liaising with executors, beneficiaries and external stakeholders Diary management, file management and matter coordination Providing high-level administrative and legal support to senior practitioners These positions offer a high level of autonomy and would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of matters and becoming a trusted member of the team.
