About the Role In this diverse role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining, and preparing a wide range of hire equipment to the highest standard while also assisting with yard operations and customer support activities. You will work closely with the Workshop Supervisor, Directors, and wider team to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for hire at all times. Key Responsibilities - Service Technician Duties Service and repair a wide range of hire equipment Conduct onsite breakdowns, repairs, and preventative maintenance Complete machinery inspections and service reports accurately Maintain workshop systems including: Safety Data Sheets Service schedules Machine records Help improve workshop efficiency and organisation Maintain spare parts inventory and workshop tools Assist in training staff in basic workshop skills Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment Identify and resolve issues proactively Attend team meetings and training sessions Provide regular updates regarding workshop improvements and maintenance requirements Yard Assistant Duties Ensure all hire equipment is clean, presentable, and ready for customers Maintain cleanliness of: Trailer yard Main service yard Wash bay areas Assist with cleaning pits and separators Support workshop, sales, and yard operations as required Carry out equipment deliveries and collections Attend customer job sites to perform spot maintenance and minor repairs Operate safely and follow all workplace OHS procedures What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience Experience servicing machinery, equipment, or small engines highly regarded Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and organisational skills Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness Current driver's licence essential What's On Offer Diverse and rewarding hands-on role Supportive team environment Stable long-term employment opportunity Opportunity to improve systems and make the role your own Company work Ute provided for work and personal use Ongoing training and development opportunities If you enjoy practical work, take pride in quality workmanship, and want to join a company where your contribution genuinely matters, we would love to hear from you.
