This is a forward-thinking organisation that values: Modern systems and data-driven growing practices A collaborative, inclusive workplace culture Long-term investment in people, capability, and leadership The Opportunity As Head Grower, you will lead the growing function and play a pivotal role in ensuring all crops are produced to specification, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting into senior leadership, this is a hands-on leadership role with genuine influence across production planning, quality, and operational outcomes. You will also represent the business at industry field days and seminars, remaining connected to best practice and emerging trends. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the production of vegetable seedlings across the nursery Maintain optimal growing conditions to consistently meet quality and delivery specifications Manage irrigation, moisture, nutrition, pest and disease programs Drive plant health, uniformity, and overall crop performance Maintain high standards of nursery hygiene, safety, and housekeeping Work closely with sowing, dispatch, and other internal teams to meet customer requirements Complete daily production records, reporting, and provide regular updates to senior management About You You are an experienced grower with a strong technical foundation and a practical, lead-from-the-front leadership style. You take ownership, value structure and standards, and enjoy developing people while delivering commercial outcomes.
