Senior Project Logistics Manager Snowy 2.0 Major Renewable Energy Project FIFO Opportunity | Sun-Fri (50 Hrs) Highly competitive executive package An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Logistics Manager to take ownership of the onshore logistics function supporting delivery on Snowy 2.0, one of Australia’s largest and most complex renewable energy infrastructure projects. This is a senior project leadership position responsible for managing the logistics strategy and execution across the electrical and mechanical scope of works, including major hydro equipment, turbines, generators, hydraulic steel structures and balance of plant packages. This role is suited to someone who understands that major project logistics is not simply about moving materials. It is about managing international supply chains, controlling risk, coordinating complex transport movements and ensuring critical equipment arrives safely and in sequence to support installation activities. Working closely with the Offshore Logistics Team, freight forwarders, site execution teams, Future Generation JV and Snowy Hydro, you will play a key role in delivering a successful project outcome. Key Responsibilities • Lead the onshore logistics function for a major hydro power project • Manage international freight activities including shipping, Incoterms, customs, quarantine, duties and insurance requirements • Coordinate storage, expediting, tracking and reporting of critical project equipment and materials • Manage complex transport requirements including Oversize Over Mass (OSOM) movements and specialised loads • Provide leadership and guidance around Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (COR) compliance • Support site logistics planning including unloading strategies, movement planning and equipment requirements • Work with construction and installation teams to ensure logistics activities align with project sequencing • Identify risks, resolve constraints and provide practical solutions in a complex project environment About You You will be an experienced logistics leader who has operated within major infrastructure, energy, mining, industrial or engineering projects. You will ideally have experience across: • Heavy mechanical and electrical equipment logistics • International freight and project supply chains • Large scale industrial installations • Heavy transport, abnormal loads and specialised movements • OSOM permitting, HVNL and COR requirements • Site based logistics leadership • Managing logistics interfaces across contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders Experience gained within sectors such as hydro power, power generation, mining, LNG, offshore energy or large industrial projects will be highly regarded. You are someone who understands how to balance safety, compliance and project delivery. You are comfortable challenging unsafe practices, influencing stakeholders and taking ownership of critical logistics outcomes.
