Employer - St George Ceiling & Plastering Pty Ltd Position : Full Time Location : Padstow, NSW Salary : $75,000 - $85,000 a year St George Ceiling & Plastering Pty Ltd is currently looking for experienced Contract Administrator to join their team. The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the commercialKey Responsibilitiesand contractual aspects of fit-out and refurbishment projects from procurement through to project completion. The role involves subcontract administration, cost control, progress claims, variations, procurement coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements. The Contract Administrator works closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to support successful project delivery in fast-paced live and staged environments. Key Responsibilities: Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements in accordance with project requirements. Prepare, review, issue, and manage subcontract packages and purchase orders. Monitor contractual compliance and identify potential commercial risks. Assist in negotiation of subcontractor terms, scope clarifications, and variations. Maintain accurate contract documentation and project records. Coordinate procurement of subcontractors, materials, and suppliers. Prepare tender packages, scope documents, and request for quotations (RFQs). Track lead times and ensure procurement aligns with construction programme. Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports. Assist with monthly cost reporting and financial reconciliation. Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, consultants, and clients. Ensure compliance with company procedures, contract requirements, and Australian Standards. Support WHS compliance and site documentation requirements. Maintain quality assurance and project administration systems. Skills and Experience: Relevant qualification and at least 2 years experience in a similar role Experience in commercial fit-out, refurbishment, or interior construction projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts and subcontract administration. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience with cost reporting, variations, and procurement processes. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. High attention to detail and organisational ability.
