With a growing pipeline of exciting projects, they are seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to join their professional and collaborative team. About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Joinery Estimator to join their Sydney-based team in a full-time capacity. Working closely with Project Managers, Production Teams, and Clients, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for a variety of custom commercial joinery projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator looking to further develop their career within a respected and growing business. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial and residential joinery projects Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Complete material take-offs and quantify labour requirements Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing Prepare detailed quotations and budgets for clients and project teams Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimating phase Liaise with clients, architects, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process Assist with handovers to project delivery teams upon successful tender award Maintain estimating databases, pricing schedules, and cost records Skills and Experience Previous experience as a Joinery Estimator within the commercial joinery, shopfitting, or fit-out industry Strong ability to interpret architectural and construction drawings Experience preparing detailed BOQs, cost plans, and tender submissions Sound knowledge of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methods High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software systems Relevant trade or construction-related qualifications highly regarded Culture Join a supportive and professional team that values quality workmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
