Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a qualified carpenter who enjoys being hands-on across all stages of residential construction while also looking to develop their skills further into estimating, quoting and project coordination. About the Role: Hands-on carpentry across custom residential new builds, renovations and extensions Leading and coordinating small teams/subcontractors on-site Reading and interpreting plans and architectural drawings Assisting with project scheduling, material coordination and site organisation Working closely with management on quoting and estimating future projects Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism What Our Client is Looking For: Trade Qualified Carpenter – Certificate III in Carpentry Minimum 5–8 years post trade experience Strong all-round carpentry background across residential construction Experience in renovations, extensions and custom home builds highly regarded Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor apprentices and coordinate trades Open-minded attitude towards progressing into estimating/quoting responsibilities Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Essential Requirements: Full set of carpentry tools Reliable transport and current driver’s licence Strong work ethic and attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills What’s on Offer: $55–$60p/hr Flat Rates Super Roughly 40 hours per week Full-time stable position with a respected residential builder Diverse and high-end residential projects Opportunity to grow into a more senior operational role Supportive team environment with long-term career progression Projects located exclusively throughout Brisbane’s Northern Suburbs 6-month probation review with potential discussion around a company ute pending performance and suitability If you are a qualified carpenter looking to step into a long-term opportunity with genuine career progression and diverse residential projects, we would love to hear from you.
