We are seeking a service-oriented Maintenance and Facilities Assistant to join our Sydney campus on a Part-time basis. Benefits: Above Award level remuneration. As our Maintenance and Facilities Assistant, you will: Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the ground’s external areas and gardens. Cleaning tasks (e.g. aircon filters, gutters) as required. Building and equipment maintenance and repair as needed. Prepare and reset rooms for functions and events. Work with the Property and Maintenance Manager to plan projects and organise resources. This is a permanent part-time role, 2 – 4 days/week . A regular weekly schedule will be agreed before commencing, subject to the successful candidate’s availability and experience. Remuneration: Above Miscellaneous Award Level 4 (excl. 12% Super, 17.5% leave loading). Salary is dependant on experience and skills. Essential Attributes: Current driver licence. Experience in building, maintenance or a similar field. Possesses an attitude of service and ownership of outcomes. Polite and courteous approach to all people. Completes work to a high standard while meeting agreed outcomes. Proactive team player with initiative and a collaborative approach. Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks at any point in time. IT literacy. Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church. Desirable Attributes: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Trade qualification in building or related field. Experience in horticulture or similar field. Boom lift (Skyjack) licence.
