THE ORGANISATION Our client is fast-paced, global organisation, with over 1200 white and blue collar employees, across multiple sites in Australia and NZ. Due to an internal promotion, the organisation is looking for its next Head of HR, Oceania to continue championing, developing and implementing HR strategies that deliver to the business objectives. THE ROLE Reporting to the MD – Oceania, this role is a key member of the Oceania leadership team and is responsible for leading and managing the HR team of 12, including Payroll. The business has grown over the last couple of years, both organically and through diversification, and this role will be accountable for the development and execution of HR strategies aligned to the business needs in ANZ, whilst maintaining consistency with global best practices. Key responsibilities include: Building effective and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to support the achievement of business goals; Leading and developing the HR team of 10 with responsibility for the overall management, planning and execution of HR activities and programs; Drive key initiatives focussed on Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, DE&I and ESG; Deliver effective IR strategies and solutions. THE CANDIDATE We are seeking a strategic and commercial HR leader with experience in fast- paced, global environments. To be successful, you will: Have extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles; Have experience in blue collar industries with industrial and frontline customer bases; Have experience leading and developing a team with a empowering coaching style; Have exceptional relationship building skills and be able to demonstrate a track record of building credibility; Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure with tight timelines; Be able to work collaboratively and influence and drive change; Have strong project management capability.
