Requirements: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our dynamic team in the South Brighton venue. The ideal candidate will have a flair for food innovation, a commitment to quality and thrive in a fast-paced environment across the following tasks: Washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits & vegetables to prepare them for consumption; Carving and trimming foods to ready them for different dishes; Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes & personal judgment; Regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; Seasoning and cooking foods according to recipes & personal judgment; Turning & stirring foods to ensure even cooking; Observing and testing foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently; Portioning, arranging, and garnishing dishes, and passing them to wait-staff for service; Estimating food requirements and storing foods in temperature controlled facilities; Minimising food wastage and maintaining excellent hygiene standards; Assisting in training other kitchen staff where required. About The Candidate: The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III or IV or relevant degree qualification in a related field with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
