About the Role: As a Plumbing Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting examinations and competency-based assessments for apprentices and experienced individuals seeking accreditation. Your work will directly support licensing and registration outcomes with the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC), ensuring high standards across the industry. This is a rewarding opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a new way—helping to maintain the integrity, safety, and professionalism of the plumbing workforce. What we are looking for: Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and legislation, plumbing codes and standards, with experience applying them in assessment environments. Ability to gather and analyse information, collaborate with stakeholders to identify issues, and apply sound judgement to develop, implement, and monitor practical solutions. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, accurate, and well-structured documents tailored to the audience. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and engage with students and plumbing educators. Current BPC Plumbing License (mandatory). Mechanical Services registration with Refrigerated Air Conditioning (RAC) expertise is highly desirable. Experience in designing, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating assessment practices and service delivery within the VET sector or a relevant industry is highly desirable.
