Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner Cobar, NSW 9 Day Fortnights Accommodation provided | Meal allowance supplied Temp-to-permanent opportunity Hawkins is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner to support fixed plant operations at a mine site near Cobar, NSW. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented planner who thrives in structured maintenance environments and understands the importance of uptime, safety, and forward planning. The Role Reporting to the Fixed Plant Superintendent, you will: Develop and manage detailed maintenance plans and schedules for fixed plant equipment Coordinate preventative, corrective, and statutory maintenance activities Generate, review, and close out work orders within the CMMS Plan labour, tools, parts, and contractor resources to minimise downtime Support shutdown planning including scope development, scheduling, and contractor coordination Analyse downtime trends and maintenance KPIs to improve reliability Ensure all work aligns with site safety systems and WHS requirements About You Trade qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) or relevant Engineering qualification Minimum 3 years’ experience in fixed plant maintenance planning within mining or heavy industry Strong understanding of crushing, conveying, milling, flotation, pumps, and associated systems Proven experience using Pronto (essential) Solid knowledge of maintenance work management processes High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders What’s on Offer 9 Day Fortnightly roster for genuine work-life balance Accommodation provided in Cobar Meal allowance supplied Supportive and safety-focused team environment Temp-to-permanent pathway for long-term stability If you’re a proactive Maintenance Planner looking to join a growing operation with strong leadership and clear systems in place, we’d love to hear from you.
