Durock Drilling is chasing experienced Multipurpose Drillers to join our team. If you have experience with Diamond Drilling and/or Reverse Circulation, take ownership of the rig, crew and performance, we want to hear from you! This is a FIFO role working across remote exploration and mine-site locations throughout Australia. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain drill rigs in line with company and site procedures Mobilise and Demobilise drilling equipment Deliver safe, efficient, and productive drilling Accurately complete daily drilling reports, logs, and safety documentation Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance to minimise downtime Lead, support, and coordinate Driller’s Assistants and Trainee Drillers Troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field and resolve them efficiently Monitor consumables and manage stock levels on site Comply with all site safety, environmental, and operational requirements Assist with training and mentoring of less experienced crew members What We’re Looking For Demonstrated experience Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and remote environments Capability to lead a small crew under pressure Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written) Strong understanding of drilling operations, safety standards, and field logistics Commitment to maintaining accurate drilling records and reports A strong safety-first attitude Mandatory Requirements Certificate III in Drilling Operations Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months) Applicants MUST be physically fit and will be are required to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol screening.
