Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for multiple positions across biscuit production, cake decoration, and pastry departments, including an opportunity for an experienced Team Leader. Available Positions: Pastry Cooks Bakery Production Workers Cake Decorators Biscuit Production Operators Freezer Forklift Operator with Side Lift Experience Team Leader (Production) About the Roles: Working within a fast-paced bakery production environment, successful candidates will be responsible for producing high-quality bakery products while maintaining food safety, quality, and production standards. Responsibilities may include: -Preparing, mixing, baking, and finishing bakery products -Decorating cakes and specialty products to a high standard -Operating bakery production equipment -Packing and quality checking finished products -Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards -Working efficiently to meet daily production targets -Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient handling -Team Leader Responsibilities In addition to production duties, the Team Leader will: -Supervise and support production staff -Coordinate daily workflow and production schedules -Ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met -Provide training and guidance to team members -Assist management with continuous improvement initiatives - Have Skills & Experience To be successful, you will ideally have: -Previous experience in a commercial bakery, pastry, biscuit, or cake production environment -Experience with cake decorating (for decoration roles) -Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality -Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment -Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic -Good communication and teamwork skills -Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements For the Team Leader role, candidates should also demonstrate: -Previous leadership or supervisory experience within manufacturing, food production, or bakery environments -Strong organisational and people management skills -Ability to motivate teams and drive production outcomes What's on Offer: -Stable ongoing employment opportunities -Competitive hourly rates based on experience -Supportive team environment -Opportunity to work with a respected and growing bakery manufacturer -Career progression opportunities for the right candidates Roles will be paid Level 3 on the Food Beverage and Tobacco Award, higher levels considered with experience.
