True "People" focussed employer with 2500 employees & growing Lead, transform prepare for significant future growth Attractive salary package hybrid work - CBD office location This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, senior payroll professional to lead, transform and support a significant, complex, multi-site organization prepare for growth and diversification as they embark upon future strategic growth. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role will lead an established team responsible for processing payroll for approximately 2,500 employees across multiple entities and complex industrial instruments. If you enjoy leading people, solving complex challenges, and creating efficient, customer-focused payroll operations, this role offers both strategic influence and hands-on leadership. Success in this role will require you to: Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing payroll team through a period of significant transformation. Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery across the Group. Partner closely with all corporate and operations teams to improve payroll governance and service delivery. Develop reporting, dashboards and analytics that provide meaningful insights and identify emerging risks. Review and enhance payroll policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure best practice. Manage payroll compliance across complex Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislative obligations including PAYG, Superannuation and taxation requirements, and Lead continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and enhance the employee experience. About You You are an experienced payroll leader who combines technical expertise with exceptional people leadership and will bring - Proven experience leading payroll teams within large, complex organisations (2,000 employees). Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, taxation and superannuation obligations. Experience managing payroll transformation projects or system implementations. The ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into practical payroll solutions. A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for streamlining processes and leveraging technology. Outstanding stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across Finance, HR and Executive teams. Strong analytical capability with experience producing payroll reporting and business insights. A collaborative leadership style that develops capability, builds engagement and creates accountability. Why This Opportunity?
