As Business Development Manager – Toughbook you will take ownership of growth across a designated territory within our Mobile Solutions Group. This role centres on driving sales performance through strategic account planning, market development, and effective engagement with end-users, partners, and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for shaping and executing territory strategies, maintaining a strong sales pipeline, and identifying opportunities to expand the Toughbook market presence, while ensuring consistent delivery against targets and business objectives. We are seeking candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. The key responsibilities we would trust you with: Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through proactive opportunity identification and conversion. Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline (minimum 2.5x target), ensuring accurate forecasting of demand, pricing, and revenue. Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow territory performance and expand market presence. Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activity, pipeline progression, and customer engagement using agreed systems and processes. Engage effectively with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to support market development and represent the brand at events and forums. Maintain strong knowledge of products, solutions, and market trends, continuously enhancing expertise to support sales outcomes and competitive positioning. The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most to the role: Proven experience in strategic account development and B2B sales, with a strong track record of delivering revenue growth and executing successful sales strategies. Demonstrated background within the IT industry or a related sector, with a solid understanding of market dynamics, products, and competitive positioning. Ability to develop and implement effective account plans, manage pipelines, and drive opportunities through to close while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a high-performing team culture. Highly motivated, accountable, and solutions-focused professional who demonstrates integrity, initiative, and a commitment to achieving high performance standards. Prior experience dealing with Federal & State government and defence industry experience highly regarded particularly in navigating complex environments and working with government or regulated industries.
