Job Description Senior Data Engineer Build the Data Platform Behind a High-Growth Australian Tech Scaleup We're partnering with a fast-growing Australian technology company that is using data, automation and AI to transform a traditional industry. As the business scales, they're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of their modern data platform and help shape the next phase of growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building, owning and scaling data infrastructure in a startup or scaleup environment. What You'll Do Design, build and optimise data pipelines and ELT workflows Own and evolve the Snowflake data platform Develop scalable data models and transformation layers using dbt Improve platform performance, governance and reliability Partner closely with Product, Data and Engineering teams Enable analytics, automation and AI initiatives through high-quality data foundations Tech Stack Snowflake dbt Python SQL AWS Fivetran What We're Looking For 5 years of Data Engineering experience Strong Python and SQL skills Deep experience with Snowflake and modern data platforms Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines Exposure to analytics engineering and data modelling Strong ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously Previous startup or scaleup experience highly regarded Why Join?
