Your new company This opportunity sits within a large, complex manufacturing organisation operating a critical, high-volume site in Melbournes south east. Employing several hundred staff and running a round-the-clock operation, the site is a key contributor to national operations. Your new role Reporting to the national HR Leader, this position is a true Senior HR Business Partner role. Partnering closely with a peer Senior HRBP, you will support a significant portion of the site and act as a trusted advisor to senior operational leaders. You will translate enterprise-level people strategy into practical, on-site initiatives, supporting a large, unionised workforce in a fast-paced industrial environment. Translate enterprise people strategy into site-level priorities and action plans Partner closely with operational leaders across a 24/7 manufacturing environment ER & IR case management, investigations and risk mitigation Support EA negotiations and union engagement Lift leadership capability and maturity across the site Navigate complex workforce challenges and unplanned, reactive scenarios What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated HR Business Partner experience within manufacturing, heavy industry or a similarly complex environment Strong ER/IR capability, ideally within unionised settings Experience supporting large, operational or shift-based workforces Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders Comfortable working autonomously, with a broader, remote HR team A pragmatic, resilient and commercially focused approach What you'll get in return You will step into a highly visible, impactful role within a large-scale operation, where you can shape leadership capability, contribute to cultural transformation and support critical workforce initiatives.
