This FIFO role offers the opportunity to work on major electrical and infrastructure projects while playing a key role in maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance across site operations. The Role Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will provide practical, visible, and proactive HSE support to project delivery teams across multiple FMG construction and electrical infrastructure projects. This is a site-based role where you will work closely with supervisors, construction personnel, and management to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client and legislative requirements. Roster: 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off (FIFO) Location: FMG Sites – Western Australia Employment Type: Full-Time Interstate applicants are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HSE support and guidance to project and construction teams Conduct workplace inspections, audits, field leadership interactions, and hazard identification activities Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action management Support the development and implementation of risk assessments, SWMS, and HSE management plans Facilitate toolbox meetings, pre-starts, safety alerts, and workforce engagement initiatives Ensure compliance with FMG, Genus, and legislative HSE requirements Maintain accurate HSE records, reporting, and data management through MyOSH Monitor project performance against key HSE objectives and KPIs Promote and foster a positive safety culture through visible leadership and coaching Support continuous improvement initiatives across project operations About You To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated HSE professional with strong field-based experience in mining, construction, infrastructure, utilities, or energy projects.
