SMSF Senior Accountant - 100% remote Well established accounting firm based in Regional QLD Rare remote SMSF role with some exposure to business clients Work alongside the SMSF Partner to service a high quality portfolio Up to $110k Super FIRM This represents a very rare opportunity in the SMSF space with an impressive accounting firm based Regional QLD. This firm boasts an incredible client portfolio of large and complex clients. POSITION Due to growth and restructuring the position of SMSF Senior Accountant has been created. Reporting to the SMSF Partner this role will involve the following: reviewing and responding to technical queries; assisting with information requests; coordinating and following up outstanding matters; helping drive jobs through to completion; and providing general SMSF support to the team This role will also require the successful candidate to assist the business services team with tax compliance matters for business clients. (80% SMSF duties) CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: CA/CPA Qualifications 5 years experience within Australian Public Practice specializing in SMSFs Ability to work on large and complex funds Experience with Supermate would be desirable however full training is provided Exceptional communication and presentation skills Stable employment history Ability to work remotely on a full time basis during business hours Full working rights and based in Australia (non negotiable) There is an expectation that the successful candidate will spend the first week in the office for training and inductions.
