About Us Foundation & Friends of the Botanic Gardens is a not-for-profit organisation devoted to supporting, protecting, and enhancing the Botanic Gardens of Sydney, which includes the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, The Domain, Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, and Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah. Our vision is for a thriving, connected community that leads fundraising and philanthropy to help the Gardens realise their vision — motivating people, communities, institutions and industries to recognise the importance of plants in their lives and support their conservation. About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Supporter Engagement Manager to join our team. Key duties will include: Leading the strategic development and growth of membership, volunteer, supporter and audience engagement programs across events, membership, annual giving and philanthropy pathways Developing and implementing strategies to improve member retention and acquisition, including identifying opportunities to strengthen member benefits and experiences Overseeing the strategic coordination of key supporter events and revenue generating initiatives, including the flagship New Year's Eve picnic event at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney Leading and managing a team of three direct reports: Event Coordinator, Events & Marketing Officer and Database Administrator, and working with volunteer committees Overseeing reporting, budgeting, forecasting and operational planning for membership and audience engagement programs Working collaboratively across philanthropy, marketing and events teams to deliver integrated engagement outcomes Acting as senior relationship manager for members, volunteers, committees and selected supporters and partners
