Our client is seeking an experienced A1 Offset Printer to join their production team on a full-time basis in New Zealand. This is a hands-on role suited to a trade-qualified printer who takes pride in producing high-quality, full-colour commercial print work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity offers stable, ongoing employment with plenty of hours available. Visa sponsorship is open to suitably qualified candidates holding a Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Printing) who are willing to relocate to New Zealand. What you’ll be doing: Operating an A1 LED UV offset press to meet daily production targets and quality standards Setting up print jobs including plate installation, make-ready, colour calibration, registration, and substrate selection Managing inks, paper stock and consumables to minimise downtime and optimise workflow efficiency Monitoring print quality throughout production runs, ensuring colour accuracy, consistency and alignment Performing routine operator maintenance and preventative servicing, ensuring all servicing tasks are completed and documented Handling heavy paper stock from pallets to press and packing areas, including regular lifting, bending and stacking Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the printing department What you’ll need: Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Printing) – required for visa sponsorship consideration Demonstrated experience operating A1 sheet-fed offset presses (LED UV experience highly desirable) Strong knowledge of colour management, ink control, registration and print quality standards Ability to read and interpret job sheets, artwork specifications and production schedules Competency in basic machine maintenance and fault diagnosis Experience operating bindery equipment such as guillotines and folding machines Solid understanding of workplace safety practices within a print production environment Strong ability to work independently and take responsibility for production outcomes Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines in a busy production setting Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach Physical capability to safely perform manual handling duties Willingness to work flexible shifts, including longer production days when required What’s in it for you: Stable full-time employment with consistent hours Opportunity for visa sponsorship for qualified candidates A supportive and collaborative print environment The chance to work with advanced large-format LED UV technology Long-term career stability within a growing production team How to apply: To complete your application for this position please click on the "APPLY" button.
