12th June, 2026 Pearl Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing business based in Perth's southeastern suburbs. This opportunity would suit someone with strong brake press experience who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality components and is confident working within a busy workshop environment. Press Brake Operator Cannington Location Dayshift or Nightshift Available Days: $62.50 hr Super Nights: $75.00 hr Super Overtime available Temp to Perm Opportunity What will the role see you responsible for? Following drawings, BOMs and job instructions to complete work accurately Setting machinery for each job and making minor adjustments where required Operating LVD 170 tonne Brake Press machinery to form metal components Running Tube Laser and Flat Bed Laser machinery as required Completing rolling, bending and general machine operation duties Checking measurements during production to ensure parts are correct Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area Preparing finished jobs for packing or dispatch Working with minimal supervision while supporting the wider workshop team What do you require to be successful for this position? Minimum 2 years' experience setting and operating Press Brake machinery in a similar manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets Strong attention to detail with a reliable and safety-focused approach Ability to work autonomously, communicate clearly and solve problems as required Forklift licence (advantageous) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment Full working rights in Australia To Apply: If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please hit the "APPLY NOW" button and submit your most recent resume for review.
