It is particularly well suited to students, career changers, or individuals balancing other commitments who are available 3–4 days per week, including one weekend day. Key Responsibilities Operate a computerised weighbridge with cashless payment processing Process sales through the buy-back centre Inspect, identify and manage incoming waste streams Recover recyclable materials from mixed waste Direct and manage onsite traffic safely Provide operational support within the transfer station Safely operate machinery including forklift and water truck (where licensed) Deliver a high standard of customer service to all site users About You To be successful in this role, you will: Hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence Be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Be physically capable of manual handling duties Have basic computer skills and experience using POS systems Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and customer service Desirable (but not essential): Traffic Control accreditation HR Truck Licence Forklift Licence Previous waste management or resource recovery experience About Synergie Australia Synergie Australia delivers a full 360º recruitment solution, providing both temporary and permanent recruitment services across a range of industries.
