ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES In your role you will be responsible for: Direct engagement with clients to understand and meet their cybersecurity needs, ensuring high levels of service satisfaction. Handling ad hoc cybersecurity tasks for non-security clients, showcasing versatility and problem-solving capabilities. Responsible for creating and updating documentation, conducting training, and implementing service improvements. Managing escalations and inquiries from Level 1 SOC analysts, providing an escalation path, advice and timely resolutions. Managing tasks in the ServiceNow (SNOW) platform, along with other miscellaneous responsibilities. Remaining “current” with security and IT market trends. KEY COMPETENCIES To succeed in this role, you will have the following experience and competencies : 1 years experience working in security operations support preferably within an MSP / SI environment Great client-facing communication and presentation abilities Experience in understanding security postures and identifying gaps based off security trends and findings Clear, concise written and verbal skills Proven ability to innovate, adapt and work under pressure in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines A good understanding of frameworks such as the Essential 8, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, etc Australian Citizenship - Security cleared preferred but not essential Hands-on experience with security tools including: Email security platforms SIEM tools and configurations EDR / XDR Vulnerability Management Incident response playbooks Microsoft security stack Note : As part of our hiring process you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check
