The Role You will be the trusted link between our people, our leaders and our communities, driving initiatives that improve engagement, participation and career development. Build genuine relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, providing mentoring and ongoing support. Champion culturally safe and inclusive practices across the employee experience. Coordinate programs that attract, develop and retain Indigenous talent. Visit operational sites to connect with employees and leaders, ensuring people feel supported wherever they work. Develop strong partnerships with Traditional Owners, Registered Aboriginal Corporations, training providers and community organisations. Represent Warrikal at community events, employment expos, NAIDOC Week, National Reconciliation Week and other engagement activities. Collaborate across Recruitment, Operations, HSEQ, Procurement and People & Culture to deliver meaningful employment and community outcomes. Identify new opportunities to increase Indigenous participation across employment, procurement and community initiatives. About You You are a natural relationship builder who enjoys connecting people and creating opportunities. You bring authenticity, cultural awareness and a genuine commitment to supporting others. Experience in Indigenous engagement, community development, employment services, HR or a similar people-focused role. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trust with people from diverse backgrounds. Confidence working independently while collaborating across multiple teams. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A passion for creating inclusive workplaces and sustainable community partnerships. A current Australian Driver's Licence and the ability to travel to operational sites. Qualifications in Human Resources, Community Development, Indigenous Studies or a related discipline are highly regarded but not essential.
