About the Role: Reporting to both the Group Payroll Manager & Transactional Accounting Manager this role holds an important position within our team to support the business in it's new phase of growth. Supporting the Group Payroll Manager on fortnightly payrolls and other compliance tasks; this role will assist to ensure end to end payroll processing of employees across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is completed in a timely and accurate manner and in full compliance with all payroll and taxation legislation covering ANZ. This role will also provide additional support to the transactional accounting team, including assisting the end to end accounts payable function across multiple National Storage entities across ANZ. Working closely alongside the Accounts Payable Manager in performing tasks such as accurately validating invoices within the AP systems, addressing supplier queries and preparing payment runs. In additional the role will also provide additional support in areas such as bank processing and accounts receivables as directed. About You: Proven working experience in payroll in a similar or relevant environment. Experience in HR3 (or similar) and HumanForce (or similar HRIS) would be advantageous. Self-motivated and resilient to see a task through to completion, in an accurate and timely manner. Action and results oriented. Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Process driven with ability to quickly understand, amend and improve existing processes both by incremental improvement and implementation of new systems. Methodical approach and strong attention to detail. Inquisitive in nature and an agent for change. Sound written and verbal communication skills .Communicate in an appropriately succinct and clear manner. Communication to different stakeholders is tailored to ensure it is timely, focused, accurate and relevant. Strong team player.
