Description and Requirements About the Team Lenovo Workplace Services serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for end-user managed services, delivering comprehensive IT support. The team operates in close alignment with customer IT environments, providing end-to-end support both locally and remotely. Role Overview The Software Asset Management (SAM) Intermediate Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, governance, and lifecycle management of software assets across the organization. This role supports cost optimization, licensing compliance, and effective utilization of software through strong operational processes and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Manage software asset data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems Oversee asset lifecycle activities, including software certification, updates, and asset movements Perform compatibility testing across standard corporate platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS) and mobile environments (Android/iOS) Execute validation checks to ensure application security and compliance standards are met Package and deploy applications using enterprise tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune), including virtualization and distribution Maintain records in CMDB and SAM tools, ensuring full traceability and documentation Collect and maintain evidence of testing and validation activities (logs, reports, screenshots) Manage certification requests, including backlog tracking and proactive updates Participate in regular customer meetings Key Skills & Competencies Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Solid technical knowledge across hardware and software support environments Ability to diagnose and resolve intermediate-level technical issues Working knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) Experience with Microsoft MDT, SCCM, and Intune Strong understanding of internal processes and cross-team collaboration Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and reports Performance Metrics Asset management accuracy Response and resolution times Customer satisfaction Qualifications & Experience 2–5 years of experience in software asset management or a related IT operations role Degree in an IT-related discipline, or technical certifications with relevant experience ITIL Foundation certification Preferred Certifications (at least two): MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops SC-900: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals Administering System Center Configuration Manager (20703-1 / 55313AC) LPI Linux Essentials macOS Support Essentials Additional Locations : Brazil - São Paulo - São Paulo Brazil - São Paulo - Sao Paulo Brazil Brazil - São Paulo Brazil - São Paulo - São Paulo , Brazil - São Paulo - Sao Paulo Go back Apply If you require an accommodation to complete this application, please contact ability@lenovo.com
