Aspirante is looking for an experienced Project Support Officer – ICT to support the delivery of technology and asset-related initiatives within a complex and fast-paced enterprise environment. This is an AO5-level contract opportunity suited to someone who enjoys providing structured project support, governance administration, stakeholder engagement and helping keep delivery on track across multiple workstreams. This role will suit a capable project support professional who can assist Engineers, Asset Owners and project teams across schedules, reporting, risks, actions, documentation, stakeholder coordination and day-to-day operational support. Experience within infrastructure, transport, utilities, electrical, engineering or similarly complex delivery environments will be highly regarded. About the Role As the Project Support Officer, you will provide proactive administrative and operational support to Engineers and Asset Owners within an ICT, ITS and Electrical Asset environment. The role will support the smooth delivery of projects and maintenance activities by coordinating project documentation, schedules, stakeholder communications, routine asset administration and governance activities. You will play an important role in helping the team stay organised, informed and on schedule by maintaining key project artefacts, coordinating meetings and logistics, tracking actions and supporting reporting, compliance and procurement activities. Key Responsibilities Provide proactive project and administrative support across ICT, ITS and electrical asset-related work packages Prepare and maintain project documentation, filing systems, registers, trackers and asset records Coordinate meetings, workshops, site visits, travel and diary commitments for Engineers, Asset Owners and project teams Monitor project milestones, update status trackers and follow up outstanding actions to help keep projects on schedule Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and assist with routine communications, meeting notes and progress updates Support procurement and contract administration activities, including preparing purchase requests, tracking orders and liaising with suppliers and contractors Enter, validate and maintain asset and maintenance data across relevant systems and assist with reporting and simple data visualisations Ensure documentation aligns with required standards and support compliance activities such as audits, safety paperwork and permit administration Coordinate site access, inductions and basic on-site administration support where required Provide governance and secretariat support for project meetings, working groups and reporting forums What We’re Looking For Demonstrated experience in a Project Support Officer, Project Officer, Project Administrator or similar project support role Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage multiple deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement and professional documentation Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting and document management Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook, and confidence learning new systems quickly A customer service mindset and collaborative approach when working across multidisciplinary teams Problem-solving capability and initiative to identify process improvements and remove administrative bottlenecks Experience supporting project governance, documentation, schedules, reporting and stakeholder coordination Exposure to ICT, infrastructure, transport, engineering, electrical or asset management environments will be beneficial Experience and Qualifications Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Project Support or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience Project Management certification or training will be highly regarded Typically 1–3 years’ experience in a project support or project administration role Previous TMR experience and/or within infrastructure, utilities, transport, engineering or government-style environments will be highly regarded Previous experience supporting asset management, maintenance or electrical / ITS-related projects will be advantageous Exposure to procurement processes, supplier coordination or contract administration will be beneficial Previous experience in similar public sector environments will be highly regarded Highly Regarded Experience with asset management systems or project tracking tools Basic understanding of ITS, ICT or electrical asset terminology Experience preparing governance packs, maintaining registers and supporting steering or working group meetings Confidence working across Engineers, Asset Owners, vendors, contractors and business stakeholders Working Conditions and Requirements Relevant background checks, such as a Police Check, may be required prior to commencement A current Australian driver licence is preferred Some site-based support may be required, including coordination of access, inductions and routine on-site administration Apply Now If you’re an experienced Project Support Officer – ICT looking for your next contract opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
