$1,000 to $1,100 per day Hybrid | Sydney CBD fringe Snowflake modernisation program Product Marketing Manager SydneyGrowth hire E-commerce, marketplace, logistics technology The opportunity This is an exciting growth hire with a global, tech enabled logistics platform expanding its Australian presence. The business already has an established warehouse and fulfilment operation across Australia and New Zealand and is now preparing to launch a dedicated domestic shipping product for Australian ecommerce sellers. The initial focus will be the marketplace seller ecosystem, with a strong connection to eBay sellers as the product moves through final pre launch activity. This is a foundational Product Marketing Manager role for the Australian business. You will join at an early stage of the local build and work closely with the Australian Country Manager, as well as global product, engineering, sales and operations teams. The role will suit someone who enjoys building from scratch, working close to the customer and turning product capability into clear market value. This is not a corporate product marketing role with large teams, fixed processes and layers of approval. It is hands on, commercial and execution focused. You will help shape how the product is positioned locally, how sellers understand the value, how the sales team takes the product to market and how local market feedback flows back into global product and engineering teams. What you will be doing Develop local positioning, messaging and value proposition for the Australian market. Support the launch of a new domestic shipping product for ecommerce sellers. Create customer facing content, product messaging, sales collateral, launch material and presentations. Speak directly with sellers to understand their pain points, decision drivers and feedback. Translate product features such as platform integration, APIs, tracking, reporting, routing and pricing into simple customer value. Work closely with global product and engineering teams to represent local market needs and seller feedback. Support sales enablement so the commercial team can clearly explain the product, the use case and the value proposition. Gather market feedback and seller insights to help shape product improvement. Build awareness and adoption across the Australian e-commerce seller market. What we are looking for The strongest fit will be someone with genuine e-commerce experience, ideally connected to marketplace sellers, merchant platforms, logistics, fulfilment, payments, e-commerce technology or adjacent seller services. Seller-side e-commerce experience is the key requirement. You need to understand how online sellers think, what slows them down, what drives logistics decisions and how marketplace dynamics influence product adoption. You do not need to be deeply technical, but you must be comfortable understanding a platform based product and explaining its value clearly to sellers, customers and internal teams. You will need to be equally comfortable writing copy, building decks, creating launch collateral, speaking with sellers and working through details with product and engineering teams. Your background may include Product marketing, go-to-market, e-commerce marketing, marketplace marketing or commercial marketing experience. Strong e-commerce experience, ideally with exposure to seller side platforms, marketplaces or merchant services. Experience in a platform based, technology enabled or digitally led business. Understanding of logistics, fulfilment, shipping, payments, ecommerce enablement or adjacent seller services. Ability to translate technical product capability into clear commercial value. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Confidence working across local and global teams. Comfort with ambiguity, pace and a lean team environment. A hands on mindset, with the ability to move between planning and execution. This may suit someone currently working as a Product Marketing Manager, Go To Market Manager, Ecommerce Marketing Manager, Marketplace Marketing Manager or commercially minded marketing professional in an e-commerce, platform, logistics technology, payments or SaaS environment. The environment The Australian team is still being built, so this role requires ownership, adaptability and initiative. You will have direct exposure to local leadership and global teams, with the opportunity to help shape the product’s Australian market entry from an early stage. The right person will be comfortable with pace, ambiguity and accountability. You will not be stepping into a fully built machine. You will be helping build it. Why this role Foundational product marketing hire for the Australian business. Direct involvement in a new local product launch. Opportunity to shape local positioning, messaging and go to market activity. Broad scope across product marketing, launch, enablement, customer insight and market feedback. Close connection to ecommerce sellers and real customer problems. Exposure to a global product, engineering, sales and operations environment. Genuine opportunity to make a visible impact in a growth phase business. To apply Please apply with your CV, or contact Dan O’Donnell at Bluefin Resources for a confidential discussion.
