Ecommerce Merchandise Planner - SYDNEY A growing Australian fashion & eCommerce business is looking for a commercially minded Ecommerce Merchandise Planner to join their team in a newly created role sitting across planning, digital trade and commercial performance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves combining data, trading and product strategy in a fast-paced digital environment. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and play a genuine role in influencing how the business plans, trades and scales. The Role This role sits at the intersection of: Merchandise Planning Digital Trade & eCommerce Commercial Analytics Range & Inventory Strategy You’ll own the planning and performance layer of the online business, helping drive smarter commercial decisions through strong analysis, reporting and trading insight. Key Responsibilities: Own seasonal planning, OTB and inventory management across online categories Manage WSSI, sell-through, intake, markdowns and stock optimisation Build and maintain weekly/monthly trade reporting and dashboards Analyse revenue, margin, conversion, traffic and AOV performance Partner closely with buying, eCommerce and marketing teams Support ranging, pricing and promotional decisions through commercial modelling Identify risks, opportunities and key trading actions Contribute to category and growth strategy across digital channels What We’re Looking For: Previous experience within Merchandise Planning, Digital Trade or Commercial Analytics Strong understanding of OTB, WSSI, margin and trading performance Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and financial modelling Commercially minded with strong analytical capability Someone who enjoys working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment Fashion, retail or eCommerce experience highly regarded Exposure to Shopify, Looker, Power BI or Tableau is advantageous Why This Role?
