Asset & Development Manager – Perth Commercial / Mixed-Use Assets The Opportunity An exceptional, client-side opportunity has arisen for a proactive, results-driven Asset & Development Manager to join a highly engaged, lean, and collaborative team in Perth. The position offers direct exposure to a complex, evolving portfolio, focusing heavily on the major transformation of a core metropolitan asset into a vibrant mixed-use precinct incorporating premium retail, office, and hotel components. The Role This role is instrumental in leading the asset’s ongoing major redevelopment and shaping its long-term commercial strategy. Key responsibilities include: Development Delivery: Monitor and drive development and capital works to ensure complex, large-scale commercial project phases are delivered on time, within budget, and with risks effectively managed. Boardroom Exposure: Prepare high-quality, regular strategic written recommendations for Management and Executive Boards to support long-term development objectives and financial sustainability. Asset & Portfolio Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to preserve and enhance long-term asset values. Commercial Operations: Oversee leasing and marketing strategies in collaboration with external leasing agents and marketing consultants. Financial Management: Review and manage financial plans, including annual budgets and five-year development forecast models. Stakeholder Leadership: Build and maintain strong tenant, builder, and consultant relationships, while guiding on-site property and facilities teams to meet performance targets. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong pedigree in project execution and a commercial mindset: Essential: Proven project development experience strictly within the commercial sector (exposure to Hotels, Office developments, or large-scale Retail assets is highly regarded). A university degree in Property, Property Development, Property Valuation, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline. Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience in project budgeting, feasibility, forecasting, and commercial analysis. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to produce clear, strategic executive recommendations. A flexible, adaptable mindset with a proactive, results-focused approach to complex redevelopments. Desirable: A foundational understanding of property management or leasing principles. Why Apply?
