Lead Technical Representative | HV Transmission & Utility Infrastructure Perth WA | 18 Month Fixed Term Contract | Major Renewable Energy & Grid The Opportunity An opportunity exists for a senior engineering professional to work on a major utility infrastructure and renewable energy connection project in Western Australia. This role will provide technical leadership and construction oversight across high voltage transmission and substation infrastructure, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required quality standards. The position combines office-based project activities with regular site presence and will suit professionals who enjoy being close to construction while maintaining a strategic client-side perspective. What's On Offer Major long-term infrastructure project 18 month fixed term contract with potential extension Perth based role with site travel Accommodation and travel provided for site requirements Senior leadership and client-side representation opportunity Competitive remuneration package, dependent on experience Key Responsibilities Act as the senior technical representative throughout construction activities Provide oversight across transmission line and substation construction works Monitor contractor performance, quality and compliance Review and manage NCRs, ITPs, ITRs, Hold Points and Witness Points Support construction assurance, surveillance and technical governance activities Interface with contractors, consultants, utilities and project stakeholders Provide technical guidance and independent engineering judgement throughout project delivery About You Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent professional accreditation Approximately 15 years' experience within utility, transmission, substation or major infrastructure projects Strong exposure to high voltage transmission and/or substation construction Experience as a owner's engineer, superintendent, representative or technical assurance capacity Strong understanding of construction quality, assurance and governance processes Ability to build credibility with contractors, utilities, consultants and project stakeholders Highly Regarded Experience across transmission lines, towers, poles, foundations and conductor stringing Exposure to grid connection, renewable energy or utility infrastructure projects Familiarity with Western Australian utility infrastructure environments For a confidential discussion, apply now and we look forward to speaking with you.
