As a Transport Company Manager at ATeam Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing transport operations, fleet performance, client service delivery, and compliance activities. This position requires strong leadership, operational planning skills, and the ability to manage logistics activities efficiently. Responsibilities and Tasks: The Transport Company Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Organising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel Liaising with clients to determine requirements and providing customers with advice and information regarding vehicle type, purchase or hire rates, obligations and handling complaints Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules Ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods Maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports Coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of trains Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Qualifications and Skills: Demonstrated experience in transport, logistics or fleet management operations Strong understanding of Australian transport regulations and occupational health and safety requirements Proven ability to manage client relationships and resolve complaints professionally Experience in scheduling, route planning and coordinating vehicle and freight movements Sound administrative and record-keeping skills, including preparation of operational reports Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team Proficiency in relevant transport management software and business systems Salary: The role offers a remuneration package of $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
